YATCHAN is a Tamil language comedy thriller about two men whose identities get mistaken.

Violence

A man is stabbed in the chest and a bloody blade is seen being withdrawn from the wound. There are also frequent fight scenes in which characters exchange crunchy punches, kicks and arm breaks. In one fight scene, a man is strangled with a piece of wire.

Threat

A man threatens another man with a broken bottle.

Sex

A man shows his friend a website advertising the services of local escorts; women's faces appear briefly on screen, but there is no nudity or sexualised posing visible. There are also a couple of brief references to 'call girls'.

There are uses of mild bad language including 'crap', 'god', 'damn', and 'hell'.
