WONDER WHEEL is a US drama in which a married woman falls in love with a younger man.

Sex

A woman straddles a man and moans as they have sex: it's a brief scene without nudity. There are references to 'getting knocked up' and 'winding up in bed'.

There are two references to suicide: one character remembers thinking of drowning herself, while another is reported to have taken an overdose of sleeping pills.

There is use of discriminatory language, such as 'wop', reflecting attitudes of the 1950s setting. Bad language is mild ('crap').

Characters discuss domestic violence. It's implied that a man beats his wife and child.

The main characters smoke, reflecting the 1950s setting.
