Note: The following text may contain spoilers

WARRIOR is a drama about two estranged brothers who compete in a mixed martial arts contest, with one of them being coached by their father.

Violence

There are some heavy blows, particularly when one of the brothers is in the ring. Small amounts of blood are spilt in some sequences towards the end of the film, although there is no focus on this. During the climactic fight, there is sound of an arm breaking but no sight of any obvious injury other than the arm being held limply after this.

Language

There is infrequent use of strong language ('fuck').

WARRIOR also features some discussion of the father's problems with alcoholism, ans the son's addiction to prescription drugs.

The film also includes some mild bad language.
