VICTIM is a British drama, from 1961, in which a lawyer takes on blackmailers who have been targeting gay men.
- Language
Mild bad language includes uses of 'bitch', 'bloody', 'bastard', 'God', 'damn' and 'hell'.
- Sex
There are mild and undetailed references to sexual activity, such as whether a man is attracted to other men as a "boy would be to a girl" and a man admitting "I wanted him".
Discriminatory comments are made about gay people, including sight of the word 'queer' scrawled on a garage. However, the film is very strongly against such discrimination. There is a verbal reference to a man having hanged himself in prison. As a result of threats from blackmailers a man collapses and is taken away in an ambulance.
