Note: The following text may contain spoilers

VERONICA MARS is a detective thriller in which a young private eye becomes involved in a murder mystery.

Language

There is one use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as various uses of moderate and mild bad language (eg 'prick', 'bitch', 'dick', 'bloody', 'shit', 'bastard', 'asshole', 'son of a bitch').

Violence

There is a brawl between several characters, in which punches and kicks are exchanged. There is also a shooting, which results in brief bloody injury to a woman. There is some use of a taser and a mace spray.

Sex

There is a brief implication of sexual activity, when some footage from a 'sex tape' is shown: a woman is seen removing her shirt and there is brief sight of a couple thrusting under bed sheets. There are some moderate verbal sex references, including to sex aids and prostitutes.

There is a verbal reference to 'doing lines of coke', a brief car accident, and a partially obscured rude middle-finger gesture.
