VANISHING OF THE BEES is a documentary about the widespread collapse of bee colonies around the world.

Language

There is infrequent very mild bad language in a scene in which a speaker at a conference tells delegates that he has been told that the loss of his bees was due to "PPB - piss-poor beekeeping." The context of the use of this language is reported speech within a documentary in which it describes suggested bad farming practices, rather than being used as a pointedly directed insult.

There is also a scene in which a scientist artificially inseminates a queen bee, and the scientist describes the manipulation of the sexual organs during the clinical procedure.
