TWELFTH NIGHT is a recording of a live French-language performance of Shakespeare's comedy.

Sex

A man wears a thong with a codpiece in the shape of an erection attached to the front. He is shown rubbing his nipples and whipping himself across the shoulders while moaning in a sexual manner. Another man is shown touching a woman's breast. There is also occasional verbal innuendo.

Nudity

A man performs a comic 'striptease', exposing his bare behind to the audience. He then exposes his genitals, tugging and swinging them around for comedic effect over the course of a prolonged sequence. Women are shown wearing translucent clothing that reveals their breasts.

There is a scene of suicide, without blood or injury detail. A man is held captive and humiliated by being repeatedly splattered with faeces. There is brief bloody detail on two men's faces after off-screen violence. In another scene we see some human remains including a severed arm with exposed bone, but the images are not bloody or strongly realistic.
