TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE is a US drama in which a young woman accompanies her father, a veteran baseball scout with failing eyesight, on a scouting trip.

Language

There is a single use of strong language ('f**k'), alongside milder terms like 'bastard', 'crap', 'jerk-off', 'piss'; 'screw', 'shit-ball' and 'son of a bitch'.

Violence

One man repeatedly punches another's face. Although there are some crunchy sound effects accompanying the blows, little is seen in terms of blood or injury detail.

It is implied that a young girl is molested by an older man, but nothing is shown of this.

The film also contains infrequent mild sex references. For example, a young baseball trialist boasts to his peers: "First thing I'll do when I make the majors is bang one of those chicks on Desperate Housewives".

There are scenes of smoking, but the film as a whole does not glamorise or promote the practice.
