TRANSCENDENCE is a science fiction film about a terminally ill scientist who 'uploads' his mind to a computer.

Violence

Scenes of violence feature people being shot with some bloody impacts. There are also scenes in which men are beaten with some sight of bloody wounds. Many of the scenes in which people are shot or beaten are followed by scenes in which their wounds rapidly heal. There is also a scene in which a blind man is injected in his eyeball. The injection is a medical procedure that restores his sight.

There is mild bad language including, 'shit', ''screwed', 'god' and 'Jesus Christ'. In some scenes a man who has been poisoned is shown to be mortally ill. There is also a scene in which a couple embrace and kiss.
