TIN is a period drama set in a Cornish tin mining town in 1900, when a touring opera company comes to perform.

Violence

A scene of sexual violence as a woman is assaulted by a man who loses his temper with her, pushing her over a table and starting to move her skirts out of the way. He is then attacked by someone else and the woman escapes. She later describes the event to other characters, saying, "He pushed me against here. He touched me, kissed me, tried to get his thing out... I ran away".

Injury detail

A religious man, who is wracked with guilt, punishes himself by nailing the palm of his hand to a plank of wood, as if crucifying himself. This is suggested by the sound of hammering, after which we see the nail through his hand, but there is no blood. He is quickly rescued by another character, who removes the nail, leaving a small, clean wound with only very small amounts of blood.

Further issues include mild bad language, such as 'shit', 'bastard' and 'arse', and some mild verbal sex references, for example to someone having "dropped her knickers" and some bawdy song lyrics, including the lines, "squeeze my jugs" and "I'm a better whore than you".
