SHIVAAY is a Hindi language action thriller which follows a mountaineer searching for his kidnapped daughter who has been taken by criminals.

Violence

There are blood spurts when characters are shot, stabbed and punched.

Theme

There are references to child abuse throughout. One scene shows a young boy being escorted to a man's hotel room. Another scene shows the discovery of dead children in body bags. There are verbal references to 'traffickers', 'paedophiles' and 'child trafficking'.

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k'). Milder terms include 'bitch' and 'bloody'.

There are some references to prostitution in a scene set in a red light district. A sequence shows the hero run through a brothel, where he frees a group of women. A woman is briefly seen with a tourniquet around her arm, implying drug use, which the man pulls off.
