Note: The following text may contain spoilers

SELF MADE is a documentary that follows the progress of seven men and women who successfully respond to an advertisement seeking people to play either themselves or a fictional character in a film.

Language

There is infrequent use of very strong language ('c**t'), and frequent use of strong language ('f**k').

Violence

Scenes of violence include a dramatised scene in which a male participant in question has chosen to dramatise the worst thing he can imagine - an unprovoked attack on a pregnant woman. In his short film he delivers a very heavy kick to a pregnant woman's stomach.

There is infrequent drug misuse, and sight of a very well-known 1945 black and white photograph of Benito Mussolini, Clara Petacci and other executed Fascists hanging upside down in the Piazzale Loreto, Milan.
