THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS is a comedy in which an estranged father attempts a reconciliation of sorts with his family.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms such as 'shit' and 'asshole'.

Sex

There is a scene in which two women kiss. One is topless and the other fondles her bare breast. A poster advertising a play shows a naked woman with breasts and pubic hair visible.

Suicide

A man tries to kill himself by cutting his wrists with a razor.

Some white powder is seen on a table in a scene in which a man discusses his drug habit. A woman mentions she hasn't slept with a man for several years.
