ROMA is a Mexican drama which follows a year in the life of a middle-class family in Mexico City in the early 1970s.

Disturbing images

There is a prolonged scene depicting a stillbirth. During the scene, there are sequences in which attempts are made to resuscitate the dead baby, as well as frequent sight of the dead infant.

Language

There is strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms such as 'crap', 'bastards', 'shit', 'bloody', 'asshole', 'piss' and 'bullshit'.

Moderate violence includes undetailed shootings and a scene in which a riot breaks out. There is moderate threat when a pregnant woman is threatened at gun point, and also when two children are seen struggling at sea. There is natural full frontal male nudity.
