ROBERT THE BRUCE is a British historical drama in which the outlawed King of Scots hides from his enemies in the home of a peasant family.
- Violence
People are stabbed, bludgeoned and slashed with swords, occasionally resulting in spurts of blood or strong bloody aftermath detail. Other violence includes heavy blows, a crunchy arm break and a non-graphic sequence of execution by hanging.
Scenes of moderate threat include one in which a woman kisses a dangerous man in order to distract and placate him. The man then attempts to pressure her to have sex with him, but it is clear that he sees through her bluff and is only taunting her. Other issues include a scene in which a woman treats a man's infected wounds, with moderately bloody detail. Sex references and bad language are infrequent and mild.
