Note: The following text may contain spoilers

RINGS is the third in a series of horror films about the urban legend of a videotape that condemns those who watch it to death in seven days.

Supernatural threat, which is occasionally sustained, runs through the film and is intensified by jump moments and strong horror images which are familiar from the first two films in the series. There is also physical threat, such as when a character is hunted through a house by a man armed with a stick.

There is infrequent moderate violence and occasional bloody images. There is also moderate and mild bad language ('bitch', 'shit', 'asshole') and brief drug misuse.
