Note: The following text may contain spoilers

RIDDICK is a sci-fi action thriller starring Vin Diesel as a lone warrior fighting for survival on a hostile alien planet.

In one scene Riddick kicks a sword across a room into a man's head. The sword cuts the man's head in two, briefly leaving his brain exposed. There is another moment when a man receives a deep cut to his shoulder.

The film also contains frequent strong language ('f**k'), which is often aggressive. Additionally, there is one use of 'motherf**ker'.

There is one scene of attempted sexual assault but the female victim fights off her assailant, giving him a beating instead.

There are occasional crude sex references, some derogatory comments about a woman's sexual orientation, and a couple of scenes of nudity, one of which presents the nudity in a sexualised manner.
