REVENGE is a French language thriller in which a woman avenges a violent assault after she is left for dead.


There are scenes of strong bloody violence throughout, including a scene in which a woman is impaled on a branch after she is pushed off a cliff. Other moments include bloody shootings and a scene in which a man is stabbed in his eyes.

There is sexual violence in a scene involving the rape of a woman.

Injury detail

Gory images of injury detail include a scene in which a man attempts to remove a shard of glass which has penetrated his foot. In another scene a woman is shown removing a protruding branch from her chest and cauterising the wound.

There is use of strong language ('f**k') as well as milder terms including 'ass', 'hell', 'shit', 'damn', 'whore' and 'balls'.

A scene of drug misuse shows a woman ingesting peyote.

There are scenes of strong sex, including a scene in which it's implied that a woman fellates a man.

Strong threat includes a scene in which a man attempts to drown a woman.

Scenes of strong nudity feature both female and male nudity, including a scene of sexualised nudity in which a man watches a woman get dressed.

There are several bloody shots of an animal carcass on a car windscreen.
