THE PRINCE OF EGYPT is an animated drama about the Biblical character, Moses.

Violence

There is mild violence, for example when Hebrew slaves are whipped by Egyptians. An undetailed and stylised animation is portrays Seti's slaughter of the innocents in which we see babies flung into water by soldiers. There is a scene in which Moses' staff turns into a snake. A sequence showing Passover night implies the death of children.

There is some mild threat in a scene in which two men race chariots. There is also some mild threat when plagues of frogs and locusts descend on the town.
