PLAYMOBIL: THE MOVIE is a musical fantasy adventure in which orphaned siblings are transported into a magical toy world.

Violence

Scenes include a battle between Playmobil Viking armies employing historical weapons, but without anyone being hurt. During brief fights between Playmobil characters there is a headbutt and a man is kicked between the legs, but as they are toys there are no serious injuries.

Threat

The heroes are chased by a dinosaur in a Roman arena, but soon turn it into a harmless friendly dinosaur. Other scenes of threat include a woman being chased by cowboys who want her gold, and two characters being suspended over a lava pit by a slug-like alien, but they are soon saved.

Language

A Viking song includes the word 'wench'. Other very mild bad language includes 'heck' and 'jerk'.

An early scene establishes that the central characters' parents have died in a car crash. The event is not dwelt upon and is handled sensitively.
