A PARIS EDUCATION is a French coming-of-age in which a boy moves to Paris to study film.

Sex

There is a scene in which a young woman straddles a young man in bed. There is some implied thrusting but there is mostly only sight of her head, with very little nudity other than the man's chest. In another scene, a young man lies on top of a young woman as if about to engage in penetrative sex before they both make a decision to stop.

Other scenes feature milder sexual activity such as kissing and cuddling, sometimes whilst in bed.

Language

There is infrequent use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder bad language, such as 'bitch', 'shit', 'assholes', 'piss', 'God' and 'jerk'.

There are some verbal references to suicide, which include mention of hanging and someone who jumped out of their bedroom window. Such references are brief and otherwise discrete. Adults are frequently seen smoking.
