PARADIES GLAUBE – PARADISE FAITH is a subtitled German language drama and the second film in a trilogy. It follows a middle aged woman who belongs to a fervently Catholic group. The woman spends her holiday attempting to convert other people but her faith is challenged by them, as well as by her Muslim husband.

Sex

The film contains a scene of strong real sex, in which the central character discovers a group of people having sex in a park at night. There is brief sight of erections, masturbation and fellatio, although the sexual acts are only seen from a distance and in semi-darkness, meaning the more explicit shots are not particularly clear. The scene also involves some strong verbal sex references.

The film also contains a scene of domestic violence in which the main character and her disabled husband struggle on the floor. He pins her down, despite being paralysed below the waist, and hits her on the head a few times. He then briefly touches her between her legs, although there is no clear detail. The woman hits him with his shoe and they continue to wrestle for some time until she manages to break free.
