OUTLAW/KING is a historical drama which follows Robert the Bruce's struggles against the forces of Edward I after the death of William Wallace.

Violence

There are regular scenes of strong bloody violence with bladed weapons. A battle scene sees men impaled in spiked trenches.

Injury detail

A prisoner is hung and disembowelled, with sight of his innards spilling onto the floor.

There is sexual threat to women who have their clothes torn by soldiers. There is infrequent use of both very strong language ('c**t') and strong language ('f**k'). There is a strong sex scene with sexualised nudity. There are scenes in which horses are shown being injured or killed, but there are no animal cruelty issues.
