OLDER THAN IRELAND is a documentary in which a group of Irish residents who are over 100 years old recall their personal histories and the changes they have witnessed.

Language

There are three uses of strong language ('f**k'), none of which are aggressive or directed. Milder bad language includes uses of 'piss', 'bloody' and 'bastard'.

Other issues include some sex references as a woman jokes that she tells people she 'turned prostitute' when she gets fed up with being asked the secret to long life. There are also some references to first kisses and relationships and how dance halls were considered 'dens of iniquity'.

There are some verbal references to shootings and murders as part of discussion of the violent unrest in Ireland's history.

Several people discuss the deaths of their partners and how their loss still affects them.

Some people smoke cigarettes.
