NOTEBOOK is a Hindi language drama in which a teacher at a remote school develops a relationship with his predecessor through messages left in a book.

Violence

Scenes include a fistfight with heavy, stylised blows resulting in limited signs of injury. In another sequence, a child is seen running across a mine field until he detonates a mine. The boy's body is immediately hidden in the explosion, although it is implied he dies.

Threat and horror

There is a sequence of gun threat, children panicking when a storm hits their school, and some tension when a snake is discovered in the classroom. In one sequence a body with some signs of decay is discovered in the water under a toilet, although the images of the corpse do not dwell on detail.

There is mild bad language ('bloody').
