NEED FOR SPEED is an action drama about a US street racer who is out for revenge against the man responsible for the death of his friend.

Imitable Behaviour

There are a number of high speed car chases and races, including along public streets and highways, causing pedestrians and other drivers to scramble out of the way. The protagonists perform some spectacular vehicle stunts during these sequences, and this adds a fantastical element to the dangerous driving, as it is clearly not something that could easily be copied. The car chases quickly attract the attention of the police, making it clear that what is being done is both illegal and dangerous. There are some crashes, but no detail of any injuries.

Language

There is infrequent use of moderate bad language ('bitch'), as well as several uses of milder bad language (eg 'son of a bitch', 'douchebag', 'bastards' and 'shit').

There is some comic nudity when a man strips naked in his office, in a deliberate ploy to get himself sacked. He is shown only from behind. There are also some mild verbal sex references and occasional mild violence, including a man receiving a punch to the face.
