MY GENERATION is a documentary about Britain in the 1960s, presented by Michael Caine.

Drugs

Discussion of drug misuse by the youth of the day includes verbal references to the use of LSD, marijuana and speed, illustrated by archive footage showing joints being prepared and smoked, and people swallowing pills.

Nudity

Female breast and buttock nudity is seen in fashion photographs from the period, and briefly glimpsed in archive footage.

Language

There is infrequent use of strong language ('f**k'), as well as milder terms such as 'bugger', 'bastard', 'bloody', 'bollocks', 'pissing' and 'shit'. There is also a brief glimpse of the 'v' sign gesture during a rapidly edited montage.

Mild sex references occur during a segment on the introduction of the contraceptive pill and the sexual revolution.

There are also frequent scenes of smoking in video footage from the 1960s.
