MULAN is an animated adventure about a young woman who disguises herself as a man and joins the army to save her elderly father from being conscripted.

Threat

There are a number of battle scenes between the forces of the Emperor and the invading Huns, with the leader of the Huns, in particular, presenting a threat to the lives of the main heroes.

Violence

There is some mild fantasy violence in the battle scenes, with one fight, in particular, containing some martial arts moves and a head butt.

There is some mild and comic innuendo referring to the young heroine's disguise as a man.
