MUD is a US drama in which two boys encounter a fugitive killer who they agree to help.

Violence

In one scene several men are shot and a man is struck in the face with the butt of a shotgun. The shootings result in a couple of brief bloody bullet impacts. After the shoot-out, a police officer looks down at a body lying on its back in a pool of blood. There is blood on the corpse's chest but no discernible injury detail. In another scene a young woman is knocked about and subsequently threatened with a knife by a man who is looking for her boyfriend.

Sex

The film also includes some moderate sex references. These include juvenile comments about women's 'titties' and an older man advising a youth to 'get his tip wet'. In one scene the two boys discover a pile of Penthouse magazines, although there is no clear nudity on the covers.

There is some mild bad language, including uses of 'ass', 'bullshit', 'Jesus', shit' and 'son of a bitch'. The fugitive character smokes cigarettes from time to time.
