THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE is a comedy drama in which an obnoxious filmmaker is led into the world of one of his films.

Language

There is use of strong language ('f**k') throughout, along with milder terms including 'whore', 'prick', 'bloody', 'bastard' 'shit' and 'bugger'.

Violence

Moments of violence include a man being shot and a giant being stabbed in the foot, resulting in blood spurts. There are also references to, and brief moments of, domestic abuse. These include an instance of humiliation, in which a villainous character forces his wife to publically clean his shoe with her tongue.

There are also moderate sex references, and occasional gory images when a man discovers a decaying animal carcass.
