LONELY ARE THE BRAVE is a US western, from 1962, in which a cowboy arranges for his own imprisonment, in order to help a friend escape.

Violence

There is a bar brawl with punches, and blows with a stick. A cowboy elbows a policeman's face. There is brief sight of blood in the aftermath of violence.

It is implied that a horse is hit by a car, and put down by gunshot as a result of its injuries. There is use of very mild bad language ('hell', 'damn'). Cigarettes are smoked, reflecting the era.
