LIGHT OF MY LIFE is a US drama in which a father and daughter try to survive in the wilderness following the spread of a deadly virus.

Violence

A series of desperate struggles result in brief moments of strong violence, including a man being struck repeatedly on the back of the head with a hammer, a man's head being banged against a floor, and a shooting with brief aftermath sight of a small bloody wound to a man's side.

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k') and use of a discriminatory term which is condemned by the protagonist. References are made to a virus wiping out women, illustrated by brief sight of a mark on a woman's side and an undetailed photograph of a mass of bodies. There are scenes of moderate threat in which the central characters evade other humans, with the film's premise suggesting that men are a potential sexual threat to the protagonist's daughter.
