THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS is an historical epic, in which a man raised among Native Americans becomes entangled in the French and Indian War.

Violence

Battle scenes include shootings, stabbings and being struck with axes and clubs. In one sequence a man cuts out the heart of his enemy and is seen holding it, and in another sequence a large bladed weapon is embedded into a man's torso. A captured soldier is tied to a stake and set on fire, but he is shot before he burns to death.

Faced with capture, a woman jumps from a cliff to her death.
