THE KING is a historical drama in which a young Henry V ascends to the English throne following the death of his father.

Violence

A man is beheaded in brief bloody detail. Battle scenes feature stabbings, suffocations and the bludgeoning of armoured soldiers.

Injury detail

Strong gory images include a child being forced to carry another's child severed head.

There is infrequent strong language ('f**k') as well as uses of 'cock' and 'whoring'.
