KICK-ASS 2 is an action comedy sequel in which the teenage crime fighter, 'Kick-Ass', joins a group of other makeshift superheroes in order to fight a criminal gang.

The violence features blood sprays from bullet impacts and stabbings, as well as the occasional severing of limbs. There are a number of scenes in which weapons are displayed and handled, including by a young female character, who is shown to be proficient in their use. These feature within a context of comic excess which emphasises the idea that she has been trained to be an assassin from a young age.

In one scene, some sex toys and fetish clothing are seen. In another scene, teenage girls refer to a range of sexual acts, before another teenage girl appears to become sexually aroused by a music video featuring a boy band. There is also a scene in which the main villain breaks into a female superhero's house, threatening her. He unzips his flies, below frame, but is unable to become aroused. He turns away and apparently masturbates before his would-be victim verbally taunts him. There is no nudity or sexual detail and the intended sexual assault does not occur.

The film also contains frequent use of strong language ('f**k' and 'motherf**ker'), as well as two uses of very strong language ('c**t'). There is some moderate and mild bad language (eg 'bitch', 'whores', 'shit', 'dickheads', 'screw') and one use of discriminatory language ('faggot') by an unpleasant and unsympathetic character.

In one scene a teenage girl gets her revenge on some bullies by touching them with a device that causes them to vomit and defecate in a comically excessive manner. The film also contains a scene featuring brief female breast nudity when the main villain is in a swimming pool with two young women.
