KAFES is a Turkish drama about the conflict between the opposing sides of the Turkish revolution of 1980.

Violence

There are two torture scenes, one in which a man is strapped to a chair with blood on his face and on the floor, and another in which a man is repeatedly punched in the face and stomach. There are also scenes in which people are shot and fight scenes with crunchy blows.

Threat

There is a scene of sexual threat in which a man threatens to have a woman stripped; the woman is seen being dragged away screaming. A woman is also pursued down an alley by a man, though it is quickly established that no harm is intended.

Injury detail

A bullet is seen embedded in a man's temple after he has been shot, and a character is stabbed with brief sight of a bloodied blade being withdrawn.

Language

There is use of moderate bad language such as 'prick' and 'bitch', as well as milder terms including 'damn', 'bastard' and 'hell'.
