KABALI is a Tamil language action drama about a reformed gangster who is released from prison and attempts to protect his family from his enemies.

Violence

Strong bloody violence includes a number of shootings, stabbings and machete attacks. The strongest details include a man's fingers being shot off, a man being stabbed in the hand with a broken bottle, sight of a severed arm, and a man being stabbed in the throat.

Drugs

Drug misuse includes a young woman inhaling drug fumes from foil. She is also seen holding a small pipe. There are several scenes set in a drug factory in which illegal substances are being produced and packaged, and some of the main characters are gangsters who make money from this activity.

There are two uses of strong language, said in English ('f**king'), as well as milder bad language including 'bloody', 'ass' and 'piss drunk'.

There are also some verbal references to prostitution, as some of the gangster characters are also involved in this as part of their illegal business.
