INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS is a musical drama about a struggling folk musician in New York in the early 1960s.

Language

The film contains over fifty uses of strong language ('f**k'). There is also some milder bad language (eg 'shit', 'asshole', 'bastard', 'dick', 'piss').

Sex

Some uses of strong language are employed in the context of strong verbal sex references.

Drugs

In one scene a man is found shaking and drooling outside a toilet cubicle, with a tourniquet wrapped around his arm. It is implied that he has used drugs, although there is no sight of actual drug use.

The film also contains brief references to suicide, and infrequent moderate violence.
