I, FRANKENSTEIN is a fantasy action film about Frankenstein's monster being drawn into a battle between humans and a demon horde.

Violence

Although much of the film takes place in a contemporary real world setting, most of the violence is fantastical and occurs between fantasy creatures and humans with superhuman strength. Violence includes fighting with swords and other weaponry, and there is very little blood as creatures generally burst into flames when they are killed. There are also heavy punches and kicks in the hand to hand fighting, and sometimes loud sound effects. There is also a brief scene in which a character's wounds are stitched and another in which a symbol is carved into a forehead. However, the character is a superhuman creature and there is no emphasis on injuries or blood.

I, FRANKENSTEIN also contains one use of mild bad language ('shit').
