Note: The following text may contain spoilers

HUMMINGBIRD is a thriller in which a former British commando becomes involved with a criminal gang.

Language

The film contains frequent use of strong language ('f**k'). There is also some milder bad language (for example, 'shit', 'twat', 'whore' 'bloody', 'dick').

Violence

The violence is strong and occurs within a realistic setting. For example, in a flashback scene a man's throat is cut. However, the details of the violence and its bloody consequences are not unduly dwelt upon. Another scene shows a man beating up a prostitute, but the emphasis is the man's brutality and our sympathies lie with the woman.

The film also contains some moderate verbal sex references, visual drug references, and undetailed references to child sexual abuse.
