THE GREEN INFERNO is a drama in which a professor learns that treasure hunters are torturing and killing tribes people while on an expedition in the jungle.

Violence

There are scenes in which people are shot and killed by arrows, as well as a scene in which a man has his trousers pulled down before he is castrated by a snake.

Injury detail

There is sight of a gory neck wound after a man is pulled from a river. A dead man is impaled on a tree.

There are scenes of implied animal sacrifice and a scene in which a monkey is shot with a dart.
