THE GOOD LIAR is a British thriller in which a veteran conman targets an elderly widow.

Language

There is infrequent very strong language ('c**t') and use of strong language ('f**k').

Violence

Scenes include a man's hand being struck with a meat tenderiser, a man being stabbed in the eye and pushed in front of a train, and infrequent shootings. In the aftermath of a shooting, there is brief sight of gory injury detail to a man's face.

In flashback, a teenage boy rapes a teenage girl. The sequence does not show strong detail or nudity, but partial sight of heads and faces strongly implies what is occurring.
