GILDA is a 1946 drama set in Argentina, immediately after the end of the Second World War. A man becomes involved with a mysterious casino owner, his shady business dealings, and his wife, with whom he shares a troubled past.

Violence

The mild violence occurs during a number of scenes featuring fistfights, shootings and a stabbing, all of which are staged in the theatrical manner.

The film also contains very mild innuendo and smoking, which reflects the period in which it was made.
