GHANCHAKKAR is a subtitled Hindi comedy drama about a bank robber who loses his memory after carrying out a heist and cannot remember where he stashed the stolen money. It is rated 12A for moderate violence and sex references.

There are scenes of fighting in which punches are thrown and a scene in which people are shot. These scenes offer an impression of violence without focussing on its detail and bloody injury that results is shown only briefly.

Moderate, comic sex references include a woman telling her husband that they are likely to “break the bed” as they are about to make love and during a confused and constantly interrupted telephone conversation after a man has called a sex chat line. There are no strong or crude details in these references.

The film also contains mild language such as ‘jerks’, ‘bloody’ and ‘bastards’.

No-one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult. No-one younger than 12 may rent or buy a 12 rated video or DVD.
