FREESIA is a UK drama about the prejudices faced by a Muslim community in a British town.

Violence

There is moderate violence in a repeated scene that features a stabbing. Whilst the action is brief and undetailed, there are subsequent shots of the victim clutching a bloody stomach wound, and also a cut on the arm of a witness to the incident. In another scene, a young man pushes and then strikes an older woman.

Language

There is moderate bad language ('bitch'), and milder terms including 'shit', 'bloody', crap, pissed off, 'arse' and 'tossers'.

There are undetailed references to a court case involving the grooming of a young girl by an older man. There are also demonstrations of racial and cultural intolerance in the context of the film's exploration of these issues and the tensions they create in a modern multi-cultural society.
