FIRST REFORMED is a drama about a chaplain who tries to help a young couple who are expecting their first child.

Injury detail

One scene shows the body of a man who has blown his head off, accompanied by strong injury detail. In another scene, a man wraps barbed wire around his body, accompanied by blood dripping from the wounds.

There is brief sight of a suicide bomber blowing himself up; however, injury detail is limited.

The film also features a man planning to blow himself up with a suicide vest; however, he does not proceed with this course of action.

The film also includes scenes in which a man deals with a serious illness.

There is infrequent mild bad language ('son of a bitch').
