Note: The following text may contain spoilers

THE FIFTH ESTATE is a drama about Julian Assange and WikiLeaks.

Language

There is use of strong language ('f**k'), some of which are directed and delivered with aggression. There is also use of milder bad language, including 'Christ', 'damn', 'shit', 'pissed', 'hell', 'wankers', 'arseholes', 'bastards', 'prick', 'cock-up', 'crap' and 'bugger'.

Violence

Footage is shown from military and news cameras, many of which feature violence. There is sight of a man being shot in the street, as well as sight of dead and injured people being carried away. There is no clear sight of injuries although blood can be seen on the face of a dead man as he sits in his car. There is also a dramatised sequence in which two men are shot in their car. However, the deaths occur off screen with only a little blood visible on a windscreen.

There are some moderate sex references, including a comment about oral sex and a man making a gesture mimicking masturbation.
