FABERGE: A LIFE OF ITS OWN is a documentary following the company's fortunes from its earliest days, through the Russian Revolution, and up to the present day.

Violence

In a sequence depicting the violence of the Russian Revolution, a clip from a feature film shows protesters being shot by soldiers, with some blood visible. There is also a description of how the Tsar's family were shot by revolutionaries.

Sex

There are some mild sex references, with one bejewelled item being described as a gift for the Tsar's mistress and another depicting the locations of various "lovers' trysts".
