Violence

There are infrequent, discreet verbal references to child sexual abuse and child marriage.

Theme

There are occasional references to young children being taken from their families and enslaved in circuses. Survivors of child trafficking recall being beaten and exploited, but the descriptions of these events are not graphic. There are brief references to a boy who was paralysed in a fall and subsequently killed.
