FETIH 1453 is a Turkish film which tells the story of the fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Turks in 1453.

Violence

There are several spectacular set piece battles. Although much of the violence is moderate in nature, there are occasional stronger moments in which there is a focus on gore and injury. Examples include blood spurts as the tips of spears and arrows emerge from soldiers' chests, a blood spurt as a soldier is smashed in the face with a heavy mace, the sight of a deep and bloody injury to a soldier's face after he is slashed across the head with a sword, a bloody throat cut, and a focus on the bloody stump of a man's forearm after his hand has been lopped off in battle.

The film also includes some moderate and mild bad language, including subtitled uses of the terms 'bastard' and 'pussy'.
